The Qutab Hosts Adtoi General Body Meeting
{ 28th June 2003 }

To showcase their product to the members of Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India, the new management of "THE QUTAB" hosted General Body meeting of the Association in the Banquet Hall (Sheesh Mahal) on Saturday the 28th June 2003.

The programme which inter-alia included the following :--

{1} Presentation by by Mr. Navin Seth, Project Manager, TAFCON PROJECTS, Event Managers for ITTM-2003 - 26-28 September 2003.

{2} Presentation by Mr. Debasish Bhowmik, General Manager, Hotel Clarks Shiraz, Agra to promote the property among the domestic tourists.

{3} Presentation by Mr. Amitabhh Devendra, General Manager, The Qutab showcasing their product after the take over by the new management.

There was a large gathering of ADTOI members to witness the proceedings. The audio-visual presentations made by the above parties were very educative and impressive. The members were then taken for an inspection tour of the property. They were very much impressed with the product and assured their full support to market the same. As a token of remembrance of the occasion, ADTOI Mementos were presented to Mr. B.S. Sahay, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, U.P. Hotels Ltd., Mr. Navin Seth and Mr. Amitabhh Devendra.

The day also coincided with the birthday of our Executive Council Member, Mr. Anil Kalsi, of Ambe World Travels, and it was celebrated with the presentation of cake and lots of best wishes.

Rich tributes were paid to late Mr. Pradeep Sankhala, Director, Dynamic Tours (P) Ltd, a long time member of ADTOI who died recently under tragic circumstances in a road accident in Canada. In his condolence speech Mr. Arun Varma, Senior Member, ADTOI highlighted Mr. Sankhla's invaluable contribution to the growth of the Association. As a mark of respect to the departed member 2 minutes silence was observed.
