Fam Tour of Adtoi Tour Operator Members to Jaisalmer & Jodhpur
{ 28th to 31st August 2002 }

The management of Hotel Narayan Niwas Palace and Fort Rajwada in Jaisalmer and Hotel Balsamand Lake Palace, Jodhpur hosted a FAM tour for the Tour Operator Members of Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) from 28th to 31st August 2002. A team of ADTOI members with their families left Delhi on 27th Aug. by train and reached Jaisalmer on 28th. Members visited SAM Sand Dunes and Jaisalmer Fort. The team left for Jodhpur by road on 30th and stayed at Hotel Balsamand Lake Palace, a WelcomHeritage property.

The team also inspected other properties like Umeed, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Taj Harimahal. The team was given a traditional welcome at all places. The tour was very educative for the members who could see by themselves the great potential this sector has for domestic tourists. Members were very happy with the standards of the properties and services provided by all the hotels. On the whole the trip was very enjoyable and useful for the promotion of tourism in this sector.

The team left Jodhpur on 31st and reached Delhi on 1st September.
